Our recruitment will speak to you to go through experience and scenarios within our industry.
Once proven that you have enough experience during your career and that you are correctly suited to Nos Da Healthcare, you will be invited to attend a face-to-face interview.
Stage 2 – Face to Face Interview
Upon Arrival, we will take a copy of your eligibility to work in the UK, proofs of address and any other relevant ID required to commence employment with Nos Da Healthcare. On completion of our mandatory application form, your interviewer will then go through competency-based questions based upon real life scenarios within care settings.
After successfully completing the test, your interviewer will then get to understand your current situation in depth to ensure that you are correctly suited to work for Nos Da Healthcare.
When a decision is made, you will then be offered the position of Mobile Worker – Care Assistant / Support Worker / Registered Nurse and move onto the next stage.
Stage 3 – DBS Check
Following a successful interview, we will then complete an Enhanced DBS check for you through the disclosure and barring service.
Stage 4 – Reference / Background checks
Whilst the DBS is in process, we will then look to chase your references of employment from your previous employers. Alongside this, we look to acquire a character reference to support this evidence as a valid background check.
Stage 5 – Online Training
On completion of a successful DBS & full reference history, we will then send you a link to your e-mail for our online e-learning training courses to be completed, this consists of Health & Safety, Fire Safety, Infection Control, Food Hygiene, Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults, Dementia Awareness, Challenging Behaviour, Palliative Care, Mental Capacity Act. You can complete these courses at home in your spare time.
Stage 6 – Face to Face Training
Once your online training is complete, you will then receive a call from our consultants to book you onto the next available face to face training session. During this 1-day course you will cover All Wales Passport Moving & Handling and First Aid with Basic Life Support.
If working within our Mental Health sector, you may be required to undertake our MAPA training course, this will be provided on a different date.
Stage 7 – Induction & Contract
Once all the elements of your compliance to work is complete, we will then ask you to attend an Induction within your nearest office location. During this induction we will outline our expectations alongside our policies and procedures. We will discuss the particular clients we supply too and prepare you for your first assignment.
You will receive an ID badge, Uniform & Timesheets.
Finally, we will talk you through your contract and ask you to sign, a copy of which will be printed for yourself.
